We are hiring Lead Platform/DevOps Engineer Cloud Infrastructure (Quantitative / Financial Risk / Treasury)
Location
Hybrid: 2-3 days in London Office
Job Description
Hands-on experience in platform/DevOps engineering within Financial Services or Treasury, with a proven track record of immediate, plug-and-play execution in enterprise environments.
- Advanced Python development (FastAPI/REST APIs), container management on Red Hat OpenShift & AWS, declarative infrastructure provisioning (Terraform), and container orchestration (Helm)
- Proven capability as a Dev Lead coordinating cross-functional projects across data teams, security engineers, QA, external AWS support, and production operations.
- Hands-on ownership of API Gateway management (Tyk), HashiCorp Vault secrets integration, hybrid-cloud network routing (on-premises to AWS), and load balancers/ingress routes.
- Production experience with AWS ML/Analytics services (SageMaker, Athena), automated PostgreSQL provisioning, and database migration tooling.
- Practical understanding of Model Risk Management (MRM) practices in Banking/Treasury, specifically complying with PRA SS1/23 regulatory guidelines.
