Lead Presales Consultant - AI Solutions (P&C Insurance)
Location: London, UK
Are you at the intersection of insurance, technology and AI? Do you have the credibility to engage senior insurance stakeholders and the curiosity to uncover the real business challenges behind their requirements?
We're looking for a Business Solutions Specialist (Presales Consultant) to play a critical role in helping leading insurers transform their operations through innovative AI-powered solutions.
The Opportunity
This is a highly visible, client-facing position where you'll work with insurance leaders across the London Market and wider P&C sector, helping organisations understand how AI can drive efficiency, improve decision-making and unlock new opportunities.
- You'll lead discovery discussions, shape solution strategies, demonstrate AI capabilities, and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery.
- This is not a traditional pre-sales role. We're looking for someone who can challenge assumptions, interrogate requirements, analyse data, and uncover the underlying business rules that ultimately determine project success.
- Working closely with business development, delivery, product and engineering teams, you'll help design practical, commercially viable solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for clients.

What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with insurance clients to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for AI-led transformation.
- Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions and solution design activities.
- Demonstrate AI platforms and capabilities in a way that resonates with business stakeholders.
- Analyse client documentation, spreadsheets, claims data, loss runs and operational processes to validate requirements and identify hidden risks, gaps or inconsistencies.
- Translate complex AI and technology concepts into clear business value.
- Collaborate with commercial, delivery, product and engineering teams to shape winning solutions.
- Support opportunities throughout the full lifecycle, from initial conversation through implementation and benefits realisation.
- Stay current on London Market, P&C insurance and emerging AI trends to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in a client-facing solutions, consulting, business analysis or transformation role.
- Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience, ideally with exposure to the London Market.
- Solid understanding of AI concepts, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, and an ability to articulate real-world business applications.
- Experience leading discovery sessions, workshops, demonstrations and solution discussions with senior audiences.
- Strong requirements analysis skills, with experience uncovering hidden business rules, data issues or process inefficiencies.
- Comfortable working directly with business users, technical teams and senior decision-makers.
- Ability to combine commercial awareness with analytical thinking.

Ideally You'll Also Have
- Insurance qualifications such as ACII/CII.
- Experience working with technology, data, AI or insurtech solutions.
- Exposure to product implementation, digital transformation or operational excellence initiatives.
