ABOUT US
Abintus Consulting is a global media consultancy headquartered in London. We work with advertisers across more than 60 markets, helping them improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and governance of their advertising investments.
Founded by Philippe Dominois (former Ebiquity executive and global media auditing pioneer) and Tatjana Slykova (finance expert & former Chief Accounting Officer at Publicis Groupe), Abintus helps advertisers transform how they manage media internally and how they work with media agencies.
Our services include:
- Media auditing & consultancy
- Media agency pitch management
- Media performance tracking & management
- Media management training
- Contract assessment & compliance
Advertising is one of the largest investments companies make. Global brands spend millions each year on media, yet many struggle to understand whether their investment is truly working.
At Abintus, we help advertisers answer difficult questions:
- Are we spending our media budget effectively?
- Are our media agencies delivering real value?
- Are we measuring performance correctly?
- How should our marketing approach evolve across markets and channels
At Abintus, we take pride in being a fully remote team of media experts, complemented by a trusted network of local partners. Our culture emphasises work-life balance, professional growth, and innovation. We encourage our team to work from anywhere, foster collaboration through daily check-ins, and celebrate successes as a team.

THE ROLE
The Lead / Principal Consultant owns the end-to-end delivery of client engagements across our core services. The level of the appointment, Lead or Principal, will be set by the experience and seniority of the successful candidate.
The purpose of the role is to raise and hold the standard of our client delivery, and to act as a genuine leader within. That means taking day-to-day project management and senior client leadership off the leadership team so they can focus on strategy and growth. It suits an experienced media and marketing professional who can run senior client relationships in full, bring order to complex delivery, and is ready for a bigger canvas than their current role offers. The role is fully remote, and for the right person we are open to flexible working arrangements beyond that.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

REPORTING LINE AND TEAM
The role reports to the Managing Director and works closely with the COO. Depending on the level and experience of the appointment, the role may take on line management of consultants within the delivery team. We will shape that structure around the individual rather than fix it in advance, and there is a clear path to formal people leadership as the person and the firm grow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client and stakeholder leadership. Own senior client relationships end-to-end and be the most senior Abintus voice in the room. Set expectations, hold difficult commercial conversations, and represent the firm with credibility with senior stakeholders across marketing and procurement.
- Project and delivery command. Run multiple client engagements concurrently, on scope, on time and with the expected level of quality. Bring structure and rigour to how we deliver, and improve the way projects run rather than only running them. Ensure clarity both internally and externally across assigned projects.
- Media and marketing expertise. Apply deep, practical knowledge of media investment, agency remuneration, planning and buying, and the advertiser-agency dynamic that underpins our work across auditing, pitch management and performance tracking. A generalist grasp of digital media is valued, enough to pressure-test a digital audit and hold a client conversation, though deep specialism is not required.
- Hands-on delivery. Produce work and output yourself, not only delegate and review. Everyone at Abintus contributes directly to client deliverables, the leadership team included, and this role is no exception. The ability to lead a client one hour and build the output the next is essential, at every level.
- Team development. Get the best out of colleagues on every engagement, set the standard for output quality, and mentor more junior members of the team. Contribute to the wider development of the team's soft skills, from client communication and stakeholder management to presentation and confidence in front of senior audiences.
- Firm building. Help make Abintus better. That means refining and innovating our services, sharpening the processes and methods behind our delivery, and finding better ways to do the work. Over time, and as something to grow into, it also includes supporting new-business presentations and the development of our propositions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems, and enjoys the challenge of senior stakeholder and project management. We value people who are analytical, detail-oriented, organised, proactive and curious.
Essential
- At least seven years' experience across the media and marketing sector
- Experience gained across one or more of: a media agency, the advertiser or client side, a media owner, procurement, or media auditing and consultancy
- A track record of leading senior client relationships and complex delivery with minimal oversight
- Genuine project management strength, able to run several engagements at once and bring order to them
- Confident, proactive problem solver comfortable working with initiative
- Exceptional communication, written and verbal, with a talent for making complexity simple
- A proven remote operator: self-directed, organised, and comfortable in a small, close team
- Low ego and a builder's instinct, happy to lead and to roll sleeves up in equal measure
Desirable
- A generalist working knowledge of digital media and ad tech
- Experience mentoring or managing others, with the appetite to take on formal people leadership
We welcome experience from right across the media value chain, and breadth is a real advantage. A background that includes media auditing or consultancy is valued as part of that mix. We are looking for more, though, than someone whose only experience is at a competitor consultancy. What matters most is the seniority and range of what you have done, and the judgement that comes with it.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive Salary
- Fully remote working environment
- Flexible working considerations
- IT equipment
- 25 days annual leave (+ UK bank holidays)
- Pension scheme post-probation
- Discretionary annual bonus based on company performance
- Ongoing professional development and training
