As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for an outstanding Chartered Lead Principal Quantity Surveyor to join our Cost Management team. This is a rare opportunity to shape major projects from inception to completion, influence commercial strategy across a diverse portfolio, and lead a highly skilled team of professionals. Job Description:
We offer a basic salary of up to £65K (pay award pending) depending on experience, working 36.5 hours per week. Acivico is an equal opportunities employer and operates a Hybrid working approach with full flexibility to meet the balance of job needs and your own lifestyle and our flex time policy enables you to further achieve a positive work/life balance. Our offices are located at 10 Brindley Place, Birmingham with the team typically in attendance 1 or 2 days a week.

The Role:
This is a key leadership role in our growing Commercial Team, an opportunity for an experienced and commercially astute professional to lead high-profile projects, influence strategic decision-making, mentor and develop talented colleagues, and help drive excellence across our quantity surveying services. Working with major public and private sector clients, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact whilst developing your career within an organisation that is committed to quality, innovation and delivering positive outcomes for the people and places we serve.

About You:
- You will be a commercially astute, values-led senior quantity surveying professional with substantial experience in cost, commercial and contract management, ideally supported by a degree and chartered membership of RICS, CIOB or an equivalent body.
- You will bring strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts, cost planning, forecasting, procurement and commercial risk, alongside the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- You are likely to have experience both of the public and private sector.
- An inclusive and credible leader, you will build trusted client relationships, communicate complex matters clearly and use sound judgement to deliver sustainable value for clients and communities.
