The Role
As Lead Product Designer, you will set the design direction and quality bar across 360, Assure and Learn. You will combine design leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring the highest-impact work receives the right attention while critical priorities continue to move.
You will lead customer research, strengthen design systems across multiple products and work closely with Product and Engineering to turn business requirements into practical, high-quality experiences. You will also take ownership of the existing design backlog and help grow the design team as the organisation scales.
What You'll Do
Design Direction and Quality
- Set the design direction and quality bar across 360, Assure and Learn.
- Stay hands-on across priority research, concepts, prototypes and production design.
Workload, Backlog and Team Leadership
- Own and prioritise the design backlog, balancing urgent needs across product lines.
- Manage team capacity and hire, support and develop designers as the organisation grows.
Customer Research and Validation
- Lead customer research to validate designs, assumptions and design-system decisions.
- Use direct customer evidence to refine requirements and improve outcomes.
Cross-functional Product Delivery
- Partner with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into buildable designs.
- Balance customer value, product consistency and technical feasibility through delivery.
Design Systems and AI-enabled Practice
- Build and govern scalable design systems across multiple products.
- Define practical uses of AI across research, prototyping and production design.

What You Bring
Essential
- Proven experience leading a design team across concurrent product lines, including prioritising work when multiple needs are urgent.
- Experience designing the UX across complex configurable platforms that serve numerous user personas.
- Experience balancing design leadership with hands-on contribution in a lean team.
- Practical experience using AI within research, prototyping and production design, with a clear understanding of its value and limitations.
- Strong partnership skills across Product and Engineering, including translating business requirements into effective, buildable design outcomes.
- Ability to communicate design direction, priorities and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience inheriting a sizeable existing design backlog.
- Experience designing B2B SaaS products.
- Experience in EHS, compliance or another regulated-industry platform.
- Experience in a private equity-backed SaaS company.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling organisation.

Interview Process
We aim to keep our interview process transparent, fair, and respectful of your time. While steps may vary slightly by role, you can typically expect:
- Initial chat: A conversation with a member of our Talent team to learn more about your background, motivations, and answer any initial questions.
- Portfolio Panel interview: A 90-minute discussion with a panel where you will walk through some of your portfolio, demonstrating your approach to design and then go into your strategy for design leadership. Further details will be provided prior to interview.
- Final interview: A conversation with a senior leader in the Product organisation.
- Offer: If successful, we’ll move quickly to share an offer and next steps.
