Lead Product Designer

Description
We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to lead design strategy and execution across complex music creation experiences. This role manages and develops designers while partnering closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and leadership to ensure design delivers measurable customer and business impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of product designers working across music creation software, hardware-integrated workflows, web, or platform experiences.
- Define design strategy aligned with product and business priorities.
- Establish clear design standards, review practices, and quality expectations.
- Ensure customer insight, research, accessibility, and usability inform design decisions.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to make trade-offs and deliver cohesive experiences.
- Communicate design direction, rationale, and progress to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve or unify experiences across the broader inMusic ecosystem.

What You Bring
- Experience leading product design teams in software, creative tools, music technology, hardware/software products, e-commerce, or platform environments.
- Strong portfolio of customer-centered, commercially relevant design work.
- Ability to coach designers and raise the quality of design execution.
- Experience working with research, analytics, design systems, and cross-functional product teams.
- Strong stakeholder communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on design judgment with team leadership.
