This role requires relocation to Dubai
Our client is an established consumer platform used by millions of customers across the Middle East. The business is undergoing a significant transformation, evolving its digital product into a more premium lifestyle and loyalty platform, with major investment across product, engineering and design.
We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to take ownership of this transformation from a design perspective. This is a senior leadership position, but importantly, it is also a deeply hands-on role. You will define the design vision, transform the end-to-end app experience, establish the design systems and standards, and lead and develop an existing design team.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end transformation of the consumer app experience, across information architecture, interaction, visual design, motion and overall usability
- Define what a premium digital experience should look and feel like across the product
- Build and scale the design system, component library, standards and design practices
- Use customer research, behavioural data and experimentation to inform design decisions
- Lead and develop the existing design team while remaining actively involved in the craft
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to progressively ship improvements across a live consumer platform
- Act as the senior design voice within the organisation, influencing product direction and senior leadership
- Establish a stronger design culture and raise the quality bar across the wider product organisation

What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of Product Design experience
- Experience leading at least one major consumer app transformation
- Exceptional hands-on product and visual design capabilities
- Strong experience building and scaling design systems
- Experience operating as the most senior design voice within an organisation
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with executive leadership
- Strong understanding of customer research, A/B testing and funnel analysis
- A genuine player-coach — comfortable leading and developing designers while remaining deeply hands-on
- Experience within lifestyle, loyalty, hospitality, travel or premium consumer brands would be highly advantageous
- Experience with brand repositioning or visual identity transformation would also be beneficial
