Waracle are looking for a Lead Product Designer

Waracle are looking for a Lead Product Designer for an exciting new role joining our world-class digital technology consultancy and home to a diverse, smart, curious and ambitious community of specialists in technology-driven transformation.

We work with ambitious clients to help them solve their biggest business and customer challenges. We help our clients to innovate and create intelligent digital products and services. We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design and delivery to operations.

This is a Hybrid role, offering the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life, with 2 days a week spent connecting with colleagues in our London office.

The Role

Are you a Lead Product Designer ready to make a significant impact by translating complex problems into clear, usable, and inclusive digital solutions?

In this role, you’ll shape complex problems into clear, inclusive digital experiences. You’ll own end-to-end design, influence product and design strategy, and help evolve our design systems—working closely with clients, senior stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll also mentor designers and champion best practice, making a visible impact across major projects.

Key aspects of the role include

  • Drive Design Excellence: Lead interaction design and define visual directions that align with strategic brand visions.
  • Champion Inclusive Design: Lead accessibility audits and define custom requirements to ensure our products work for everyone.
  • Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leading workshops and shaping project visions from the top down.
  • Scaling Systems: Maintain and evolve comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across platforms.
  • Collaborate & Mentor: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and "bringing others with you".
  • Data-Driven Iteration: Use analytics, research, and A/B testing to refine designs and improve user experiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
