Peratera is a UK-based fintech company, founded in 2022 and authorised by the FCA as an Electronic Money Institution. We are building a modern, all-in-one payment platform that enables businesses to manage global payments and financial operations seamlessly.
Our solution allows companies to open multi-currency accounts, send and receive payments worldwide, and manage cross-border transactions from a single platform. Our mission is to simplify global finance and remove friction from international business operations.
Your Mission
As our Lead Product Designer, you'll own the end-to-end design of our payment products and help define how design is practiced across the company. You'll transform complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive experiences while working closely with Product and Engineering to deliver products customers genuinely enjoy using.
Your Tech Environment
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end design process for our Digital Wallet product - from discovery and user flows to polished, production-ready UI
- Design intuitive experiences for merchants, administrators, and internal operations teams
- Simplify complex payment, financial, and compliance workflows into clear, user-friendly journeys
- Build, maintain, and evolve Peratera’s design system and component library in Figma
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle
- Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews when needed
- Represent design in product discussions and contribute to product strategy and roadmap decisions

What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in Product Design, including experience leading complex products or owning end-to-end design initiatives
- Experience designing B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, banking, or other data-rich products
- Strong UX skills, with the ability to simplify complex workflows and information architecture
- Advanced Figma expertise, including design systems, components, variables, prototyping, and developer handoff
- A portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking, interaction design, and polished UI
- Experience building or scaling a design system from the ground up
- Experience working in cross-functional Agile product teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Nice to Have
- Experience designing payment, fintech, banking, or Web3 products
- Experience using AI-powered design tools to improve design workflows
- Experience working with compliance-heavy or regulated products
