Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.

In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Lead Product Engineer for Engagement: someone who has shipped consumer apps people love and wants to build the app that follows a member home from their scan. You join a pod of four to six engineers and an Engineering Pod Lead, and you take member problems from idea to production.

Engagement owns the Neko app on iOS, Android and web, and everything around it: wearables, notifications, and the screens members meet during the scan and the debrief with their doctor. Members trust us with their health, and every interaction either deepens that trust or loses it. You care about the details that make an app feel great: performance, gestures, transitions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months

  • Ship to production in your first week and own a meaningful part of the app within your first month: native platform, health data, notifications or clinic screens.
  • Ship member-facing features end to end in React Native, with Swift or Kotlin where needed, on both platforms and web.
  • Build the native platform layer: HealthKit and Health Connect, wearables, push and background work, deep links, biometrics, and the release train from build to staged rollout.
  • Build the clinic screens: the scan and debrief experiences.
  • Hold the quality bar with AI tools in your daily loop: crash-free rate, performance, and the details members feel on every screen.
