Role Responsibilities
Valtech are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, entrepreneurial and dedicated Lead Product Manager to join our team. This role comprises leadership across our most complex and ambiguous agile projects and programmes, often spanning multiple teams and disciplines. Our Product Managers work with our expert in-house teams of developers, designers and testing engineers to deliver innovative, high-quality products.

You’ll work in close collaboration with designers, engineers, strategists, delivery leads and partner with senior and C-suite client stakeholders to define the product and service strategy, clarify priorities, validate hypotheses, align around measures of success, and more, to go from idea to successful implementation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll play a pivotal role in defining our practice strategy, improving our craft and capabilities, and coaching colleagues to support their learning and development. You'll also lead by example in how we use AI: embedding it into your own day-to-day practice as a Product Manager, championing better ways of using AI across your team, and helping design and deploy AI-powered products and capabilities with our clients and their users.
