Product Lead – B2B SaaS - Up to £95,000 + benefits
Manchester City Centre – Hybrid, typically 2–3 days a week in the office
There’s a good story behind why this role exists.
The business has grown quickly over the last few years into a 200+ person organisation, building a successful B2B SaaS platform now used by hundreds of thousands of customers across the UK.
The technology function has grown with it, with 50+ Software Engineers and an established Product team of roughly 6–8 PMs/Product Owners, working in cross-functional squads.
And as the product has grown, so has the complexity behind it.
They’re now creating a brand-new Product Lead role, reporting into the Director of Product, to take ownership of one of the most commercially important areas of the platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You won’t be joining to simply manage a backlog.
You’ll own the strategy, roadmap and commercial outcomes across a significant product domain spanning multiple product lines, operational workflows, payments and financial functionality.
There’s a people element too.
You’ll directly manage and develop a small team of Product Managers, while still staying close to customers, discovery and the products being built.
The biggest attraction is the autonomy.
There isn’t a rigid playbook or somebody handing you a roadmap. You’ll be expected to understand the problems, identify the biggest opportunities and set the direction yourself.
There’s also a genuine focus on AI, both in how you work day-to-day and how it can improve products and customer experiences.
