You will be an experienced Product Manager with strong Salesforce expertise and a proven ability to deliver complex digital products at scale.
Job Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Product Manager – Salesforce to join our Digital & Technology team on a permanent basis. This role sits within our IT directorate of over 130 staff. You will be part of the Digital Experience leadership team - a friendly and welcoming group of professionals who exist to innovate and improve the digital experiences of colleagues across the constabulary, as well as the public that we serve.
Based at Police Headquarters, Portishead, this is a hybrid role requiring attendance in the office 1-2 days per week, with occasional travel to other police sites. Access to fleet vehicles will be available for business travel. A full UK driving licence is essential.

As Lead Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the vision, strategy and roadmap for our Salesforce platform. You will ensure that Salesforce supports operational policing, enhances user experience and drives efficiency across the organisation.
You will work closely with other Product Managers, User Researchers, technical teams and senior stakeholders to translate organisational needs into scalable, secure and value-driven solutions. You will lead product direction, prioritisation and delivery, ensuring Salesforce remains a high-performing and continuously evolving platform.
Success in this role will be demonstrated through the delivery of impactful, user-focused Salesforce solutions that enable effective policing, streamline processes and support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the Salesforce product vision, roadmap and strategy aligned with organisational goals
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of Salesforce-based solutions across the force
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Leadership capability, with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee integration with wider digital and IT services across the organisation
Essential Skills And Experience
- Significant experience leading Salesforce product management and delivery
- Strong understanding of Salesforce (e.g. CRM, Service Cloud, integrations)
- Experience working within Agile environments, including backlog management and sprint planning
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement at senior level
- Ability to translate business needs into technical and product requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills

To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 5 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
The basic salary for this role is £54,696 - £58,431, with an additional market supplement payment of £9,000 (subject to annual review).
