Working Pattern: Hybrid, includes 3 days each week in the office
Contact Type: Full time, permanent
Salary: £60,000 - £68,000 per annum
Role overview:
Tes is beginning a new era that brings together many separate products and delivers a level of value to schools that hasn’t been possible before. The Marketing function is right in the middle of this; building our brand, nurturing, engaging and acquiring new audiences, and supporting how customers prosper through retention.
The Lead Product Marketing Manager sits within the Global Product Marketing function and is responsible for leading and delivering the go-to-market strategy for a set of products within a Tes product vertical.
Working closely with Product, Sales and the wider Marketing team, you will build a strong understanding of the value and impact of those products for customers. You will translate this insight into clear campaign plans, define compelling messaging for buyers and implement effective ways to communicate value in the market.
You will take ownership of your product area, gain buy-in from stakeholders across the business and support the development of a best-in-class product marketing function that enables growth, strengthens retention and maximises value for schools.
In addition, you will lead a small team, balancing priorities across campaigns and ensuring the right level of market engagement is achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver marketing plans to drive demand generation, revenue pipeline, brand awareness and customer marketing.
- Act as a strategic business partner, driving market expansion across regions and markets.
- Build product positioning, messaging frameworks and value propositions.
- Collaborate with Creative and Communications teams to deliver guides, whitepapers, blogs, webinars and case studies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments, translating insights into strategic direction.
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to improve customer experience and optimise conversion.
- Create and deliver sales enablement materials including battlecards, ROI tools, pitch decks and market narratives.
- Own campaign reporting, analysis and optimisation using data and insights.
- Lead and develop a small team, providing direction, coaching and performance management support.
- Support the Marketing Director in delivering product marketing strategy and ensuring effective alignment across marketing activities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
