Job Description
We are looking for a driven product marketer who has a passion for identifying the intersection of customer pain points, market requirements and product value. This individual will identify, build and drive the product marketing initiatives to strongly position Thales Imperva solutions in the small and mid-sized enterprise market.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will operate from a user-first mindset and directly impact our company’s success by working closely with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, and sales to effectively communicate the value of our products to our target buyers. Telling relevant and strategic narratives through the lens of customer personas.
The successful candidate will combine an understanding of the market, customer needs and the product portfolio with the creative aspects of positioning technology through stories that are compelling, authentic and engaging. They will see the total business picture and have a well-developed sense of accountability and a personal commitment to success.

What You Will Do
- Develop differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with our target personas and cascade that messaging across all internal, market and customer-facing content
- Create content across the buyer’s journey that clearly communicates our value proposition and extends our thought leadership in the market
- Partner with sales enablement to deliver product-related updates, sales motions and training
- Track competitors and deliver meaningful competitive content to help sales teams compete in their opportunities
- In collaboration with product design and management teams, leverage your skills and experience as a product marketer to successfully build, execute and optimize PLG initiatives that grow pipeline
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver integrated thought leadership, awareness and pipeline creation programs that help us achieve our targets in the SME market
- Partner with product management to understand product strategy, market fit and how to position against competitive offerings
What You Need to Succeed
- 4+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, experience with Application Security preferred
- Proven ability to analyze complex situations and reach conclusions through fact-based decision making
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build credibility across teams by demonstrating value
- Excellent storytelling skills with exemplary written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to translate technical concepts into persuasive marketing content for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to prove what is or isn’t working and adjust accordingly by setting targets and measuring KPIs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing & product management organizations.
- A drive to constantly optimize and improve, combined with a relentless focus on customer experience
