- Continuously improve mortgage pricing capability through data, automation, and process enhancements to support growth and customer outcomes
- Ensure pricing models are appropriately governed, monitored, and maintained, identifying performance issues early and taking timely action to avoid adverse impacts.
- Partner with Product and Finance teams to enable effective pricing governance, including approvals, controls, monitoring and post-implementation review, while supporting compliance with Consumer Duty, fair value, responsible lending and internal risk policies.
- Work closely with the Financial Modelling team to define, challenge and maintain aligned assumptions across pricing and financial models, ensuring consistency in forecasts, scenarios and commercial decision-making.
- Act as the subject-matter expert for mortgage pricing, continuously identifying opportunities to achieve best-in-class capability, automate decisioning and strengthen portfolio performance through data, experimentation and process improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
