Summary

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – Until July 2027

What to expect

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering our Network Optimisation Programme, supporting the replacement of a number of branches across the UK.

Following approval of the programme business case, this role will support the delivery of new branches, helping ensure customers continue to have access to Post Office services within their local communities. Working as part of a small, high-performing team, you will coordinate multiple project workstreams, tracking delivery across multiple branch openings and builds at any one time.

You will work closely with stakeholders across property, operational, onboarding and network teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully, managing progress against key milestones while maintaining focus on scope, quality, cost and timescales.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile transformation programme that will have a significant impact on our network and the communities we serve.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience managing projects within a multi-site retail, operational or customer-facing environment.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering rollout, deployment, implementation or transformation projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Strong project planning, tracking, reporting and governance experience.
  • Experience producing and presenting management information, project updates and delivery reports.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and risk management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
