About The Role
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Lead Project Manager to spearhead significant construction projects in the Birmingham area. This senior position demands exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the construction industry, from planning and design through to site management and final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, to the highest quality standards, within budget, and ahead of schedule. This role is crucial for maintaining our client's reputation for excellence in construction management, working with a dedicated team committed to impactful urban development and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial conception to final completion and occupancy.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and site supervisors, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control and assurance processes throughout the construction lifecycle.

Requirements
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial and residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and relevant UK regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software and BIM technology.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
