Lead Product Planner

Partner with the best
As Lead Product Planner, you will be in-charge of planning a large subsea project. The planner will be accountable for the schedule quality and project on-time delivery. The position reports to the Materials Manager.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Product Planner, you will be responsible for:

Scheduling Management
- Ensure the overall project schedule management, including maintaining its quality (logic, clarity) and accuracy (updates of dates, reflection of the scope of supply).

Coordinating
- Collaborate with other planners (product line planners & engineering planners) allocated to the project, and with execution functions (engineering, procurement, and manufacturing) to ensure the overall quality and accuracy of the schedule.

Supporting Project Management
- Serve as the right-hand to the project manager, providing visibility on:
- Creating lookaheads for future activities to be completed.
- Identifying risks in schedules and proposing mitigation actions.
- Spotting opportunities in the schedule.
- Provide relevant reports to project management, ensuring the project manager has the necessary tools to make informed decisions, driving on-time and on-budget project execution.
- Serve as the right-hand to the project manager, providing visibility on:

Customer Interaction
- Interact with the customer to deliver schedule updates and explain the current situation, challenges, and opportunities.

Process Adherence
- Adhere to approved processes and proactively drive the implementation of new initiatives that lead to fully integrated planning.
Requirements
Fuel your passion. To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree, or relevant work experience.
- Have experience working within planning, ideally in the oil and gas/subsea industry or a related large-scale mechanical manufacturing or controls equipment environment.
- Additional knowledge of Oracle MRP is considered a plus.
- Ability to understand project status and link the schedule to real-world execution.
- Ability to quickly assess risks and opportunities in the schedule and identify appropriate actions.
- Strong expertise in planning large projects and experience using the Primavera P6 planning tool.
- High energy and motivation to deliver, contributing meaningfully to the position.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required to collaborate with a team of planners and interact with stakeholders across the project.
