About The Role
Infosec is seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to join their talented team. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable data platforms and applications that support the company's strategic objectives. As a key technical leader, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that enhance data integration, automation, and reporting capabilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving technological excellence across the organization, supporting the adoption of AI and other emerging technologies to optimize business processes. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to influence the company's technology strategy, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the evolution of Infosec's data and analytics infrastructure.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or Principal Developer role within a financial or technology-driven environment. Strong proficiency in Python development is essential, alongside expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and data modeling. Experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions is required, complemented by advanced Power BI capabilities for data visualization and reporting. The candidate should have demonstrated success in building data pipelines, automating processes, and delivering business-critical solutions. Excellent stakeholder management, business analysis skills, and familiarity with SharePoint are also important. Prior experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, ETFs, FinTech, or Capital Markets will be highly advantageous. A passion for innovation and a proactive approach to technology are essential qualities for this role.

Responsibilities
- Leading the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications that meet business needs.
- Building, optimizing, and maintaining Python-based solutions and automation tools to streamline operations.
- Developing and managing PostgreSQL databases, data models, and ensuring data integrity and security.
- Implementing Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions to facilitate data integration and workflow automation.
- Creating insightful Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Driving technical best practices within development teams to ensure high-quality code and sustainable solutions.
- Mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technological solutions.
- Supporting the adoption and integration of AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Integrating financial and market data into internal systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
