About The Role
Infosec is seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to join their talented team and play a vital role in transforming their data and technology platforms. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to influence the company's strategic direction by designing and implementing scalable, innovative solutions that enhance data processing, automation, and reporting capabilities. As a key member of the technology team, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, guiding technical best practices and mentoring junior developers. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation, particularly in integrating advanced AI technologies and financial data systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a senior development or technical leadership role, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering complex data-driven solutions. Essential qualifications include expert-level proficiency in Python development, comprehensive knowledge of PostgreSQL databases, and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory. Strong capabilities in Power BI for creating insightful dashboards and reports are also required. Candidates should have experience building data pipelines, automating processes, and integrating financial market data. Excellent stakeholder management, business analysis skills, and familiarity with SharePoint are highly desirable. Prior experience within Financial Services, Asset Management, ETFs, FinTech, or Capital Markets is preferred, along with a genuine passion for technological innovation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
- Build and optimize Python-based solutions and automation tools to streamline data workflows.
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases and data models to support business needs.
- Implement Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions for data integration and transformation.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights.
- Drive technical best practices across development teams, promoting code quality and innovative approaches.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Support the adoption and integration of AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools.
- Integrate financial and market data into internal systems and reporting platforms to enhance decision-making processes.
