About The Role
Infosec is seeking a highly skilled Lead Python Developer to join its talented team. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable data platforms and applications that support the company's strategic objectives. As a key technical leader, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across various departments to deliver innovative technology solutions that enhance data processing, analytics, and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, data engineering, and financial technology, with a passion for driving technological innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the company's technology strategy, mentor junior developers, and work on high-impact projects that shape the future of ETF trading and data management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a senior development or technical leadership role, demonstrating expertise in Python programming and data engineering. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and data modeling is essential, along with hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions. Candidates should have excellent skills in building data pipelines, automation tools, and reporting solutions using Power BI. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of stakeholder management and business analysis, enabling effective communication with non-technical teams. Experience within Financial Services, Asset Management, ETFs, FinTech, or Capital Markets is highly desirable. A passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning is critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Build and optimize Python-based solutions, automation tools, and data processing pipelines to streamline workflows.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases and data models to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions for efficient data integration and transformation.
- Create insightful Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable business insights.
- Establish and promote best practices in software development, data engineering, and project management across teams.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions that meet strategic objectives.
- Support the adoption of AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Integrate financial and market data into internal systems, ensuring seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
