About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to join Infosec’s dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable data platforms and applications that underpin the company's core operations. As a key technical leader, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across various departments to craft innovative solutions that enhance data integration, reporting, and automation capabilities. Your expertise will directly influence the company’s technological roadmap, helping to shape the future of its data and analytics infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to lead complex projects, mentor a talented development team, and implement best practices in a fast-paced, high-growth environment focused on financial markets and asset management.

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming, with extensive experience in building and optimizing data solutions.
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL database management and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience working with Azure Data Factory and other Microsoft cloud services.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience in developing data pipelines and automation tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, business analysis capabilities, and familiarity with SharePoint.
  • A passion for technological innovation and a deep understanding of financial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications, ensuring they meet business needs and technical standards.
  • Build and optimize Python-based solutions, automation tools, and data processing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance PostgreSQL databases and data models to support business operations and analytics.
  • Implement and manage Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions for seamless data integration and transformation.
  • Create and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive best practices in software development, data engineering, and project management across teams.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions that add value.
  • Support the adoption and integration of AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools, to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Integrate financial and market data into internal systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.
