About The Role
Infosec is seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to join its talented technology team. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable data platforms and applications that underpin the company's trading, analytics, and reporting systems. As a senior technical leader, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver innovative solutions that enhance data integration, automation, and analytics capabilities. Your expertise will help shape the company's technological future, ensuring robust, efficient, and secure data infrastructure that supports business growth and operational excellence. This is a unique opportunity to influence high-impact projects within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and to mentor a team of skilled developers in adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a senior development or technical leadership role, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering complex data solutions within financial services or related sectors. Essential qualifications include advanced proficiency in Python programming, with a solid understanding of building and optimizing automation tools and data pipelines. Expertise in PostgreSQL, including designing and maintaining sophisticated data models, is required. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions is vital, along with strong capabilities in Power BI for creating insightful dashboards and reports. The candidate should also have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with SharePoint, financial markets, asset management, ETF, FinTech, or capital markets, and a passion for innovation and technological advancement.

Responsibilities
- Leading the design and development of scalable, high-performance data platforms and applications that meet business requirements.
- Building, optimizing, and maintaining Python-based solutions, automation tools, and data processing scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Developing and managing PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implementing Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions to automate data ingestion, transformation, and movement across systems.
- Designing and deploying Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Driving best practices in software development, code quality, and system architecture across the development team.
- Providing technical mentorship and leadership to developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translating these into effective technical solutions.
- Supporting the integration of AI and emerging technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools, to enhance operational capabilities.
- Ensuring seamless integration of financial and market data into internal systems and reporting platforms, maintaining high standards of data accuracy and security.
