About The Role
Infosec is seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to join its talented technology team. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable data platforms and applications that support the company's core business operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building high-performance Python-based solutions, automating workflows, and optimizing data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the organization to deliver innovative technological solutions that align with business objectives. Additionally, you will play a vital role in mentoring junior developers, driving technical best practices, and supporting the adoption of emerging AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a senior development or technical leadership role, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering complex data-driven solutions. Essential qualifications include:
- Extensive Python development expertise, with a deep understanding of building robust, scalable applications.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, including data modeling and database management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions.
- Strong capabilities in Power BI for creating insightful dashboards and reports.
- Experience in developing data pipelines, integrating financial and market data, and working within financial services, asset management, ETF, FinTech, or capital markets is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, business analysis skills, and familiarity with SharePoint.
- A passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications to support business needs.
- Build and optimize Python-based solutions, automation tools, and data processing workflows.
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including data models and schemas.
- Implement Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions to automate and orchestrate data pipelines.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to deliver actionable insights.
- Drive technical best practices across development teams, ensuring high-quality code and efficient workflows.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Support the integration of AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity and decision-making.
- Integrate financial and market data into internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
