Project Description
Our client is a leading global Financial market data provider who runs a number of change programs to deliver high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high-frequency, and low-latency data management chain. The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging.
You will join a dedicated Testing Chapter supporting the client's real-time engineering re-platforming programme - a major modernisation of the platform that distributes real-time market data. The chapter's mission is to increase repeatable, automated test evidence, reduce manual regression effort, and give product teams the confidence to release faster.
We are looking for a QA Automation Lead (based in London) to provide overall leadership, direction, and governance for test automation - ensuring automation delivery aligns with quality objectives and business priorities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
