We’re looking for a Lead Permanent Sales Consultant to join an established recruitment business, working on a busy blue-collar permanent desk.

You’ll need a strong sales background within Construction, FM or Engineering recruitment, with a proven track record of winning business and building a desk. This is not an account management role. The focus is on sales, winning new business, generating vacancies and building your own desk, alongside supporting and leading a small team.

The Role

  • Build and develop your own permanent desk across the blue-collar market
  • Win new business and generate permanent vacancies
  • Work across an established business with access to multiple PSLs
  • Develop new and existing client relationships
  • Manage your own candidates, clients and placements
  • Team Lead responsibility for a small team, providing support, direction and day-to-day guidance
  • Lead by example and maintain your own billing activity
  • Help develop the team through your own approach to sales and recruitment
  • Be proactive in identifying and picking up new opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
