We’re looking for a Lead Permanent Sales Consultant to join an established recruitment business, working on a busy blue-collar permanent desk.
You’ll need a strong sales background within Construction, FM or Engineering recruitment, with a proven track record of winning business and building a desk. This is not an account management role. The focus is on sales, winning new business, generating vacancies and building your own desk, alongside supporting and leading a small team.
The Role
- Build and develop your own permanent desk across the blue-collar market
- Win new business and generate permanent vacancies
- Work across an established business with access to multiple PSLs
- Develop new and existing client relationships
- Manage your own candidates, clients and placements
- Team Lead responsibility for a small team, providing support, direction and day-to-day guidance
- Lead by example and maintain your own billing activity
- Help develop the team through your own approach to sales and recruitment
- Be proactive in identifying and picking up new opportunities

About You
- Strong permanent recruitment and sales experience
- Background in Construction, Facilities Management or Engineering
- Proven ability to win new business
- Confident and capable of leading a small team
- Driven, commercially minded and target focused
- Comfortable building and developing a desk
- Hands-on and still keen to pick up work yourself
- Able to lead by example rather than simply manage
- Motivated by both personal billing and helping a team perform
