Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey as a Lead SACT Nurse at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre located in Royal Tunbridge Wells? Join our dedicated team at GenesisCare UK and be part of something extraordinary.

GenesisCare is expanding its UK network with the opening of a brand-new Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) centre in Royal Tunbridge Wells in Autumn 2026. This purpose-built centre will deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy and cellular therapies, bringing advanced cancer treatment closer to patients across West Kent and the South East. This is a rare opportunity to join the founding leadership team and shape a new service from day one.

As a Lead SACT Nurse with us, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of systemic anti-cancer therapy within our new centre. You will provide expert clinical leadership, oversee daily SACT operations, ensure adherence to national frameworks and governance standards, and build a high-performing nursing team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide visible clinical leadership and oversight of SACT services
  • Ensure all systemic therapies are delivered in line with UKONS guidance, evidence-based practice and GenesisCare policies
  • Maintain advanced competence in SACT administration and toxicity management
  • Lead governance processes including audits, incident management and risk assessments
  • Support workforce planning to ensure safe staffing levels and appropriate skill mix
  • Promote a collaborative, compassionate and high-performing team culture
  • Work closely with consultants, pharmacists and operational teams to streamline patient pathways
  • Contribute to service development, business planning and the introduction of new therapies
  • Uphold high standards in medicines management, infection prevention and safe handling of cytotoxic drugs

What You'll Have:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration
  • Current UKONS SACT Passport
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-registration oncology/haematology experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ senior clinical leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of governance, audit and risk management
  • Post-registration qualification in Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Advanced Life Support (or willingness to work towards)
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of safety, professionalism and compassion
