The Headlines...
Latest start date - early January 2027
Working model - mostly remote (UK) with occasional travel to our Bristol HQ (roughly once a month) and occasional client site visits nationally and internationally
Salary - £72,000 - £95,000/annum (DOE)
Why This Role Exists…
We're looking for a hands-on SAP data and analytics consultant who wants to help clients get more from their SAP landscape as it evolves; someone who's genuinely interested in bringing the trusted SAP data to modern cloud platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, and in becoming one of the rare people who can make the best use of the strengths of each platform.
As Snap's SAP practice grows, so does the work. You’ll have the opportunity to jump straight onto projects that involve standing up a new data platform on SAP Business Data Cloud and help customers migrating from SAP BW to Databricks. Both initiatives aim to switch off costly legacy systems, speed up decision-making and enable the business to run AI workloads on SAP and non-SAP data. Both kick off around the start of 2027, which is why we're hiring now.
You'll join a small, growing SAP team where you'll own real client delivery, rather than being one more pair of hands on someone else's plan. It's a role with a good balance of autonomy and support. You'll be trusted to lead your own workstream while working closely with our SAP practice lead and technical lead, learning alongside people who've delivered this kind of work before.

What You'll Be Doing...
You'll lead a workstream on live client projects, owning the deliverables, the plan and the design decisions underneath them.
It's a role that flexes with the project. Sometimes you'll be hands-on inside SAP, building on BDC or Datasphere. Other times you'll be the SAP data expert on a non-SAP build, using your BW knowledge to help a team deliver on Databricks or Snowflake.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a workstream end to end which involves owning a set of deliverables and the plan to get there
- Running client discovery, getting into the detail fast, defining the design and setting a build team up to start
- Extracting SAP source data and rebuilding it as analytics on a modern cloud platform
- Making the architecture decisions on your workstream and being able to defend them
- Coaching more junior consultants on the SAP side, bringing them along, not managing them
- Contributing to pre-sales, proposals and our growing SAP capability as you settle in

In your first 3–6 months, success might look like:
- Completing a discovery phase and getting a pilot or detailed design in front of the client
- Enabling the build team to start implementation
- Getting hands-on with a modern cloud platform if you haven't already; we're a Snowflake and Databricks specialist, so you'll have the chance to learn it on live work
- Building trust with client stakeholders and becoming their go-to on the SAP data side
What You'll Need to Succeed...
We're looking for someone who knows SAP data inside and out, communicates with clarity rather than volume and is genuinely up for learning the parts they don't know yet. Someone who's comfortable when the path isn't fully mapped (some of this technology could be new to you) and who takes things forward rather than waiting to be told.
You’d be a great fit if you have:
- Strong, hands-on SAP BW/BW/4HANA experience
- A solid understanding of SAP as a source system (ECC or S/4HANA, and functional areas like Finance, Sales, Procurement or Supply Chain)
- Real SAP data modelling and data architecture skill; you can design the solution, not just build to someone else's
- Consulting delivery experience; you've led a workstream before and you build trust with clients quickly
Bonus points if you have:
- SAP Datasphere experience, or exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud or SAP Analytics Cloud (highly desirable)
- Hands-on time with Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric or Azure; awareness is plenty, you'll deepen it here
- Experience migrating clients off SAP BW or BusinessObjects onto cloud analytics
- Integration tooling (Fivetran, SNP Glue, Theobald Xtract, SAP Data Services), Power BI or Agile delivery
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, Energy or Financial Services
