Cyber Security Lead or Senior Security Engineer

Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Lead or Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security across its growing global business and take on security architecture responsibility. You will shape and implement security improvements, including an EDR rollout, an email security platform change, and improvements aligned to NIST CSF. This role combines hands-on engineering with ownership of security designs and standards, making it suitable for an experienced engineer ready to move into architecture.

  • Design and implement security solutions across enterprise infrastructure and Azure.
  • Configure and harden firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, network segmentation, and identity controls.
  • Deliver security engineering and design work for the EDR rollout and email security platform change.
  • Create security standards, reusable design patterns, and reference architectures.
  • Own technical security design decisions and explain the implementation approach, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Build automation using Python or PowerShell to improve security controls and reduce manual work.
  • Translate NIST CSF requirements into practical technical improvements.
  • Guide security analysts and work with IT teams across different countries to implement consistent controls.
  • Challenge vendor proposals and work with suppliers to ensure solutions meet the agreed security requirements.
