Lead Security Engineer
Up to £77,000 + Benefits
London, UK Hybrid
Want to be the person driving security rather than simply maintaining it? This is a great opportunity to join a growing international technology business where you'll have genuine ownership, influence strategic security decisions, and build modern security capabilities from the ground up. Working in a lean, high-impact team, you'll help shape the organisation's cyber resilience across a complex cloud-first environment while leveraging AI and automation to deliver lasting change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing security controls across cloud, identity, endpoint and data.
- Driving Zero Trust, IAM, vulnerability management and detection engineering initiatives.
- Improving security visibility, automation and cyber resilience across the business.
- Partnering with Engineering, Product and IT teams to embed security into day-to-day operations.
- Supporting incident response and continuously enhancing the security toolset.

Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in Security Engineering or Security Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience across cloud security (AWS/GCP), IAM (Entra ID), SIEM, Zero Trust and vulnerability management.
- Experience designing and delivering security improvements, not just operating existing controls.
- Comfortable influencing stakeholders and working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with AI, automation and modern security tooling is highly desirable.
