About the Company

Enver is a leading VR game studio and publisher headquartered in New York City. We build viral, social gaming worlds and are known for top-tier publishing and marketing, with creator-led campaigns behind some of the biggest titles in VR, including chart-topping games on Meta Quest. Our specialty is social, live-ops driven multiplayer games built around communities, creators, and content loops.

About the Role

A free to play, social VR game for Meta Quest. You are a senior developer on a small team. Your core responsibility is development: writing code, defining the architecture, and building prototypes into live games. Alongside that you help plan timelines, distribute features across the developers, and keep the project on track. Management responsibilities are light. Most of your week is spent building. The cycle is fast. Ideas become playable multiplayer prototypes in weeks, and games that go forward move into production and live ops with big updates every few weeks. Code you write reaches real players quickly, and you see the impact the same week.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Develop real-time networked VR gameplay: state sync, server-authoritative logic, smooth multiplayer for physical locomotion
  • Build live-ops systems (economy, progression, events, shop) integrated with our backend services
  • Own the project's technical setup end to end: backend, multiplayer, store setup, CI/CD, releases
  • Scope and break down tasks, split the work between yourself and the other developers
  • Profile and optimize for Meta Quest, keeping builds stable and performant
  • Investigate and resolve live incidents with urgency and clear communication
  • Collaborate daily with design, art and production in a fully remote team
