They partner with clients across all sectors - ecommerce, fashion, healthcare & pharmacy, automotive, food & drink, hospitality, and others.
About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Lead SEO Specialist who will combine hands-on technical SEO with the leadership of a talented team of 3 - 4 SEO specialists and 1 - 2 marketing developers and identifying key areas of opportunity.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for:
Leading your team
- Leading and supporting a team of SEO specialists through regular one-to-ones, day-to-day management, and clear guidance
- Carrying out our quarterly performance management process, reviewing performance against KPIs, and setting development goals
- Proactively looking after team wellbeing and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment
- Identifying support and training needs, and facilitating coaching and development sessions
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and the ongoing growth of your team, and flagging any concerns early
Delivering for clients
Strategy & Planning: Design, develop, and implement effective SEO strategies that align with the clients' business goals.

Website Analysis: Audit and analyse websites to identify areas for improvement.
Keyword Research: Identify powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic.
On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta descriptions, meta tags, URL structures, and other on-page elements.
Content Strategy: Develop content for client sites to help advance keyword rankings.
Monitor & Report: Track, report, and analyse website analytics and present SEO strategies, work done, and key findings to clients regularly.
SEO Tools: Utilize SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc., to monitor and analyse rankings and ongoing SEO initiatives.
Technical SEO: Audit and enhance the website's architecture, site speed, mobile search efforts, and other technical elements.
Stay Updated: Keeping the team ahead of the curve on search, including AI-driven search and the use of AI tooling.
Collaborate: Work closely with web developers, account managers, and the wider marketing teams to optimize and implement SEO strategies.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Natural leadership qualities: a genuine people person who takes a keen interest in supporting others and building a strong team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a busy, fast-moving environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a real commitment to client success
- Proven SEO experience, 3+ years, with a track record of successfully improving organic search rankings and increasing web traffic, ideally within an agency or multi-client environment
- Familiarity with AI tooling and how it is reshaping search and SEO
- Experience with web analytics, web design, and web development
- Experience of GA4, GTM, and how to deploy tags and link up data layers
- Strong analytical skills for understanding ranking algorithms and potential issues
- Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills
- Confident at speaking to clients and can explain complex SEO issues or scenarios in a way that a client would understand

- £35,000 - £42,000 per annum (DOE)
