We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to join a long-term ServiceNow programme on an initial 12-month contract.

You will take technical ownership across development activities, working closely with architects, product owners and wider ServiceNow teams to deliver and improve the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ServiceNow development across multiple workstreams
  • Design and build scalable ServiceNow solutions
  • Provide technical leadership to developers within the team
  • Review code and maintain development standards
  • Work closely with ServiceNow Architects on solution design
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub
  • Support platform upgrades, releases and improvements
  • Troubleshoot complex platform and integration issues
  • Support junior and mid-level developers where required
  • Work with stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions

  • Strong commercial ServiceNow development experience
  • Previous experience operating as a Lead Developer or Senior Developer
  • Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and UI Policies
  • Strong integration experience
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices
  • Experience working within large ServiceNow environments
  • Comfortable leading technical discussions and supporting other developers
