🚨 Lead SOC Analyst | London

I’m working with one of the world's largest Technology Services firms as they build out a new high-performance Security Operations capability supporting some of the UK’s most advanced, secure and next-generation compute infrastructure.

We’re looking for an experienced Lead SOC Analyst / L3 SOC Analyst who enjoys being hands-on with complex security incidents and wants to work at the sharp end of Incident Response, Threat Analysis and Security Operations.

This isn’t just alert monitoring.

You’ll act as an escalation point for complex and high-severity incidents, investigating attack vectors and impact, correlating activity across multiple data sources and helping drive incidents through containment, eradication and recovery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading investigations into medium and high-severity security incidents
  • Performing root cause analysis and building detailed incident narratives
  • Working extensively with SIEM and EDR tooling
  • Supporting containment, eradication and recovery activities
  • Identifying gaps in detection coverage and existing playbooks
  • Tuning detection rules and thresholds alongside Security Content Engineers
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to L1 SOC Analysts
  • Taking part in SOC exercises and simulated Incident Response scenarios

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
