About The Role

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background with proven experience in software development and team leadership. Essential qualifications include strong expertise in C# ASP.NET /.NET (preferably version 9/10), and extensive experience working with AWS cloud services (Azure experience may also be considered). Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular (version 18+) is required, alongside familiarity with NoSQL databases. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of leading development teams, mentoring junior developers, and conducting performance reviews. Experience working within Agile environments is crucial, along with a solid understanding of best practices in software engineering. Additional desirable skills include experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or MassTransit, knowledge of TDD and DDD principles, microservices architecture, and a background in mathematics or physics, which can be advantageous for complex problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle, focusing on building scalable and maintainable applications using C# .NET, Angular, AWS, and NoSQL technologies.
  • Mentor, coach, and support a team of developers through regular 1-to-1 meetings, performance reviews, and skill development initiatives.
  • Drive engineering best practices, ensuring code quality, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
  • Support and promote Agile methodologies, facilitating continuous improvement and efficient delivery cycles.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, system design, and technical decision-making to ensure solutions are robust and future-proof.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA, to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating innovative solutions into the development process.
