Lead Product Engineer (backed leaning) | £100k - £120k | 1/2 days a week onsite 🚀
We’re partnering with a fast-growing SaaS platform that is making big moves in the industry. They are backed by an experienced leadership team from some of Europe’s most successful scale-ups and they’re now looking for a Lead Product Engineer (backend leaning) to help scale a product already used worldwide!
✨ The Role
You’ll join a highly collaborative product engineering team, owning features end-to-end across a modern Python, Typescript + React stack while helping shape the future of the platform.

- Build and ship user-facing features across frontend and backend systems
- Help evolve and maintain a scalable design system and component library
- Drive performance, quality, and developer experience across the product
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design from early discovery through delivery
- Work with modern AI-assisted engineering workflows and tooling
🎨 What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Python and TypeScript/React in production environments
- Experience building scalable design systems or reusable component libraries
- Solid understanding of modern web architecture, browser behaviour, and performance
- Experience working in fast-moving product teams with strong ownership mentality

☀️ Salary, Location & Setup
- Up to £100k - £120k
- Very flexible hybrid working setup, 1-2 days a week onsite a week
- Strong benefits package including healthcare, pension, learning budget, and generous annual leave
