Job Description
As the Lead Software Engineer, you will take primary technical ownership of the SOJO platform. Working directly with the leadership team, you’ll architect, build, and deploy full-stack features while leading AI/ML initiatives. This high-impact role offers the chance to scale a mission-driven platform serving over 10,000 active customers across Europe.

What You Will Do
- Architect and build full-stack features using Python (FastAPI), React, and Next.js to enhance the customer booking flow and automated studio operations.
- Own the cloud infrastructure and data pipeline, managing AWS services and overseeing end-to-end data flows using dbt, BigQuery, and Airbyte.
- Lead AI/ML feature development, implementing LLM-powered agents and computer vision for item identification to streamline the entire tailoring process.
The ideal candidate
- Strong full-stack expertise: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with significant experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications in a startup environment.
- Strategic builder: A pragmatic engineer with a track record of making high-level architectural decisions and owning cloud infrastructure end-to-end on AWS.
- AI-forward mindset: Demonstrated interest or professional experience in building production AI features, such as RAG or vision-based tools, to solve complex operational challenges.
