Senior .NET Software Engineer / Technical Lead

Senior.NET Software Engineer / Technical Lead required for a global SaaS company, paying up to £80,000 + Benefits with a fully UK-Remote workforce. (No UK Office)

As a Senior.NET Software Engineer / Technical Lead you will join a collaborative team of likeminded Software Engineers who are building out their next-generation, global cloud-native SaaS platform, with a real focus on high quality Software Engineering principles for a customer centric SaaS tool.

This is very much a hands-on coding role within a strong Engineering team, where the emphasis isn't simply on delivering code; there is a high technical bar around how software is designed, tested and built.

  • You'll spend the majority of your time contributing directly to the codebase, alongside some opportunity to contribute to technical and architectural discussions, support other Engineers and help maintain the Engineering standards already established across the team.

Software Engineering standards and technologies include:

  • Up to date codebase; including C#, ASP.NET Core,.NET 10 and Entity Framework Core
  • Microservices and cloud-native architecture
  • SOLID and DRY principles, alongside strong Software Design Patterns
  • TDD and DDD as established Engineering approaches within the team
  • Architectural patterns including Vertical Slice Architecture
  • RESTful APIs and backend services supporting Web and Mobile Applications
  • Event-driven and asynchronous architecture, including Azure Service Bus
  • Unit, Integration and Automated Testing
  • SQL and relational database design, including Azure SQL / SQL Server
  • Azure Cloud Services

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a backend focused role, working alongside a talented wider Product and Engineering team, where you will be predominantly focused on greenfield development.

You'll be helping to build the backend services, APIs and data architecture behind a secure, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platform, alongside developing reusable components and libraries that can accelerate future development.

With a defined pipeline of work, there is plenty for you to take ownership of from a hands-on development perspective, whilst still having input into product decisions, technical discussions and architectural ideas.

As this is a next-generation platform that is still evolving, there are areas still to be defined, therefore some comfort with ambiguity would also be useful.

Given the vision of the company you'll have plenty of opportunity to expand your skillset, in a supportive environment with a fantastic leader, focused on implementing modern Software Engineering approaches and the latest technologies across their flagship product.
