KRUSH Tech - Lead Software Engineer

KRUSH Tech, a new technology company building advanced hardware solutions for defense, aerospace, and autonomous systems, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to define software architecture and development strategy for SBC-based products. The role combines hands-on embedded Linux engineering with technical leadership, requiring expertise in system software design, team coordination, and hardware-software integration across multiple projects.

Overview

KRUSH Tech is a new technology company building advanced hardware solutions for defense, aerospace, communications, and autonomous systems. We are launching U.S. operations from the ground up and this is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning and help shape the company from day one.

We combine the agility of a startup with the ambition to tackle some of the industry's most demanding engineering challenges. Our teams work across disciplines including RF, embedded systems, electronics, mechanical engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain to transform innovative ideas into reliable, production-ready solutions. We are building a next-generation, vertically integrated aerospace organization focused on advanced uncrewed aircraft systems, autonomy, sensing technologies, and scalable manufacturing.

Role

As the Lead Software Engineer, you will define the software architecture, development strategy, and engineering standards for SBC-based products across our product portfolio. You will provide technical leadership across multiple projects, ensuring software platforms are scalable, maintainable, reliable, and optimized for complex embedded applications.

Working closely with hardware, systems, and software engineering teams, you will drive the integration of hardware and software stacks from platform selection and architecture through development, validation, and production. This role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership and is ideal for an experienced Embedded Linux engineer who enjoys solving complex system-level challenges, making strategic technical decisions, and developing engineering capabilities across teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
