Job Description: Test Lead / Senior QA Engineer (Oracle Flexcube)
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead / Senior Tester with deep domain expertise in Oracle Flexcube to drive our quality assurance initiatives. In this hybrid hands-on and leadership role, you will be the driving force behind our testing strategy, ensuring the flawless delivery of core banking and financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
👑 Test Leadership & Strategy
- Offshore Team Management: Lead, mentor, and guide offshore QA teams, ensuring seamless delivery, high productivity, and alignment with project goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary QA point of contact. Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to resolve blockers and align on acceptance criteria.
- Process Optimization: Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively participating in requirement reviews (shift-left testing) and providing early, valuable QA inputs.
- Reporting & Metrics: Maintain meticulous test documentation. Generate and present comprehensive execution and defect reports to track release health and QA metrics.

⚙️ Test Execution & Automation
- Comprehensive Test Design: Architect, write, and maintain robust test scenarios, test cases, and test data tailored to complex banking workflows.
- Full-Spectrum Execution: Drive functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing phases.
Qualifications & Skills
Core Requirements:
- Flexcube Mastery: Proven, hands-on testing experience with Oracle Flexcube (Core Banking). You should understand banking workflows, general ledger impacts, and end-of-day (EOD) operations.

Technical Toolkit
- Defect Management: Expert-level experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
- Database Testing: Solid understanding of SQL. Ability to write complex queries to validate backend data, manipulate test data, and verify database states.
- Testing Concepts: Mastery of both functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a "break the system" mindset
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks across multiple projects, and deliver under pressure.
