Frontend Lead Software Engineer
As a Frontend Lead Software Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience, you will drive frontend engineering excellence across the Research Platform during a major client-facing system transformation.
- Leverage full-stack awareness and deep client-side expertise to design, build, and scale resilient platform solutions while mentoring engineering teams and shaping SDLC practices.
- Own technical deliverables across the entire lifecycle—from discovery, solution architecture, and prototyping to production rollout and operations.
- Architect scalable frontend solutions using modular and micro-frontend patterns, balancing client requirements, business needs, and platform constraints.
- Guide and mentor software engineers, instilling high engineering standards, code quality, testing discipline, and accessibility default standards.
- Collaborate directly with Product Managers, UX Designers, and cross-functional technology teams to translate complex business demands into scalable UI architectures.
- Evaluate emerging tools, UI frameworks, and frontend SDLC delivery models to evolve the team’s technology strategy.

Technical Requirements:

- Deep, current technical expertise in React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular, backed by advanced TypeScript proficiency and expertise in modular / micro-frontend architectures.
- Extensive experience working with component design systems (e.g., Material UI, Fluent, Carbon, Radix, or Bootstrap) and translating style guides into reusable UI libraries.
- Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and E2E testing frameworks, along with hands-on proficiency in modern build tooling (Vite, Turbopack, Webpack).
- Experience designing and deploying frontend applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven track record of autonomously leading multi-team frontend initiatives and driving complex problem-solving independently.
- Familiarity with fintech, investment banking, capital markets, or heavily regulated technology environments.
- Capability to manage risk, security controls, and compliance agendas across an enterprise technology portfolio.
- Hands-on experience implementing modern web standards and leveraging emerging frontend SDLC workflows (e.g., AI/agentic engineering practices).
