Lead NodeJS Developer - Public Sector - SC clearance eligibility / BPSS
Lead NodeJS Developer needed to work on a central government based project based out of Newcastle (90-95% remote role).
As a seasoned backend Lead NodeJS Developer, you'll have experience working with:
- Mentoring Junior/mid-level Engineers on best practices such as TDD/code coverage, ways of working, code structuring and design etc.
- Central government transformation projects, ideally with GDS experience.
- Extensive NodeJS backend development most likely including Fullstack development with ReactJS/VueJS.
- Kubernetes containerisation understanding.
- CI/CD mindset and an agile approach.
- A consultative approach to problem solving and solution building.
- Good stakeholder management & business understanding.

All applicants must be eligible to obtain SC clearance (British citizens only), this is a pre-requisite for the role, and ideally be based in a commutable distance from Newcastle.
Location: 90-95% remote (monthly travel to Newcastle required)
Clearance: Active BPSS or SC clearance
