As a Senior Software Engineer Research Technology Team

You will be a key contributor across the Research Platform. You will apply your extensive engineering expertise within a collaborative, high-performing team focused on building scalable and resilient solutions that meet the needs of our fast-moving business.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on full-stack engineering and architecture across the platform.
  • Require a seasoned professional capable of autonomous delivery.
  • Own end-to-end deliverables across the Research Platform, taking complex ideas from conception through to production features.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Champion engineering best practices and play a pivotal role in evolving our fast-moving, agentic Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary global team, operating with a product-first mindset to execute efficiently.
  • Diagnose, debug, and problem-solve advanced issues to keep critical production services running smoothly.

  • Deep, hands-on expertise across both front-end and back-end technology stacks, with the architectural foresight expected of a senior engineer.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying highly scalable cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proven ability to autonomously own the delivery of complex features, including architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Expert-level diagnosis, debugging, and issue resolution for live, highly-available production environments.
  • Prior experience working within Financial Services, regulated technology environments, or a solid understanding of Financial Research workflows.
  • Experience delivering engineering solutions using an agentic SDLC or working with modern, AI-augmented development workflows.
  • A strong understanding of managing risk and controls across an enterprise application or platform.
  • Ability to act as a technical bridge between product management and engineering execution.
