Lead Software Engineer
Up to £85,000 + Benefits
Remote, with 1 day per month in Kettering.

We're hiring a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join a major platform transformation, building modern applications with C#,.NET, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. This is a genuine opportunity to combine hands-on development with technical leadership, driving engineering best practices and helping define the long-term direction of a business-critical product.

What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and building modern web applications and APIs
- Influencing architecture and technical strategy
- Mentoring developers and promoting engineering excellence
- Driving code quality, testing, and best practices
- Collaborating with architects, product teams, and stakeholders
- Contributing to a large-scale platform modernisation programme
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with C#/.NET
- Commercial experience with React & TypeScript
- Proven background working with PostgreSQL
- API and software architecture experience
- Passion for clean, scalable, maintainable code
- Experience leading technical discussions and influencing decisions
