C# |.NET | SQL Server | PowerShell | Azure Data Factory

We’re looking for a strong Senior or Lead Software Engineer to join a small, experienced development team responsible for a range of business-critical applications and systems.
This is a hands-on engineering role combining application development with complex data and problem-solving. You’ll be working across C#/.NET applications, SQL Server databases and system integrations, getting underneath issues to understand not just the code, but the data and business processes behind it.

The Role:

  • Develop and maintain applications using C#,.NET and SQL Server
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues across both application and database layers
  • Work with complex relational and transactional data
  • Understand how data flows between different systems and identify underlying issues
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and solve problems
  • Take ownership of technical issues through to resolution
  • Help improve the resilience and maintainability of existing systems

Requirements:

  • Strong commercial experience with C# and modern.NET
  • Strong SQL Server skills and confidence working with complex data
  • Experience developing or supporting business-critical applications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across both code and databases
  • Ability to understand the business processes behind technical systems
  • Comfortable working hands-on within a small development team
