Lead Software Engineer | £75,000–£85,000 | Fully Remote | SaaS
I'm working with a growing SaaS business looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join a small product engineering team.
This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role, combining software engineering, technical direction, and people management.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading technical direction and architecture
- Hands-on development with C# /.NET, React & Azure
- Building and evolving a SaaS product
- Designing RESTful APIs and modern cloud solutions
- Mentoring and managing engineers
- Driving engineering standards and delivery
- Working with senior stakeholders across product and technology

- 7+ years' software engineering experience
- Strong.NET / C#
- Strong React / frontend experience
- Azure
- SQL / Entity Framework
- CI/CD & DevOps
- Technical leadership experience
- Previous mentoring or people management experience
£75k–£85k | Fully Remote UK
