Job responsibilities
- Lead and own end to end deliverables across the Research Platform
- Architect and design solutions in a platform-first approach balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Champion engineering best practices and help us evolve our fast-moving agentic SDLC
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation
- Operate with a product-first mindset using your experience and influence to execute effectively and efficiently
- Contribute to the evolution of the team's technology strategy, evaluating emerging tools and frameworks to bring value to the technology stack
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven end to end autonomous ownership of complex engineering deliverables involving multiple teams and stakeholders
- Hands-on experience across the full stack and a willingness to pick up anything required to move a project forward
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience in architecting scalable and resilient applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex technical challenges independently

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working within Financial Services or regulated technology environments
- An understanding of Financial Research
- Experience of engineering delivery using an agentic SDLC
- Ability to manage the risk and controls agenda across a technology portfolio
