Lead Software Engineer

Salary: Open to discuss.
Location: London City – Hybrid (2/3 Day Splits)

Technologies: NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Real Time Trading, D3JS, Nest.JS, GraphQL, Data Visualisation. Front Office Trading.

Harrington Starr has partnered with an innovative Investment Platform Company that specialise in developing unique software systems for clients to invest into Capital Markets from Pensions, Investments, and Fund Management.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team within a large organisation and gain experience utilising the TypeScript ecosystem. This organisation is developing cutting-edge web-systems, which are being used globally and are offering the opportunity for you to play a pivotal role within the full software development life cycle.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced TypeScript Software Engineer with expertise in NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS and including Data Visualisation, D3JS, and Real Time Trading applications.

Key Requirements

  • Experience with NodeJS
  • Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with NestJS, GraphQL, D3JS
  • Experience with Trading Systems and Front Office Trading environment
  • Experience in dealing with Front Office Users and Trading Floor environments
  • Any experience with Digital Investments and from the Finance and Banking space
  • A 2:1 or above in Computer Science - Required
