Our PDEGO suite powers all of Sony Music's most critical business capabilities—ensuring monetization, data and analytics depth, marketing and music release at scale for artists across the globe. As a technical lead, you'll help shape the architecture, engineering standards, and long-term technical direction of one of our product spaces at global scale. What you'll do:

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of scalable software solutions supporting Sony Music's critical global B2B2C platforms.
  • Drive architecture decisions across distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and platform services.
  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, and teams of stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code while establishing engineering best practices across the team
  • Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and modernization initiatives
  • Design resilient services and integrations with internal and third-party platforms
  • Champion application reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence
  • Mentor engineers through technical coaching, code reviews, and architectural guidance
  • Identify technical debt and lead initiatives to improve scalability, maintainability, and developer productivity
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis across distributed systems
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to define the long-term technical roadmap for the platform you are focused on

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
